Domestic and Family Violence are, at their core, about the imbalance of power and control in close relationships. Coercive Control is increasingly recognised as a powerful form of entrapment, resulting in chronic fear and at times leading to homicide.  

 

Join us at the Domestic Violence & Coercive Control Workshop, where you will gain a deeper understanding of the 8 Stages of Coercive Control, and how to develop practical, trauma-informed and intersectional strategies to support your clients, your team and your organisation. 

 

Delegates will be supported with the latest national action plan and legal information about coercive control and practical steps to take within their own client support framework.

This interactive Two Day Workshop will enable delegates to:  

  • Understand the 8 stages of coercive control 

  • Understand the impact of coercive control, particularly on young people’s development
